Xiaomi undoubtedly is one of the top selling brands in the smartphone market. In the second quarter of 2018, four of the five top-selling smartphones in India were that of Xiaomi. However, it hasn’t been that successful in its flagship phones that is the reason why they don’t launch many phones that costs more than 20,000 in India. However, there’s one phone that Xiaomi still sells and that too in good numbers. Despite being not having the latest gizmos like the pop-up camera or the complete bezel-less display, this phone still has a good place in the market. Yes, you guessed it right. It is the Poco F1 that we are talking about.
Poco F1, from Xiaomi’s brand Pocophone, now comes with a really really aggressive price. It’s the cheapest Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 phone. Poco F1 starts now at just Rs 17,999 on Flipkart.

Specifications of Poco F1
Most of you might already know about the specs of this phone. So, what we really want to talk about today is the new aggressive price that this phone is being offered at by Flipkart as well as by the Mi Store. You can now get the 6GB(RAM)+64GB variant at 17,999. This is the ever lowest price of this phone and this phones still deserves a lot of attention considering the build quality of the phone as well as the specs.
Xiaomi has managed to pack surprisingly awesome specs for the price. But we would still say that some will like the design of the phone and some won’t because the Poco F1’s body is entirely made of plastic and the handset simply doesn’t inspire that premium look and feel as you’d get from a most contemporary glass or metal body phone.
At this price point, the Xiaomi Poco F1 supports a 6.18-inch screen with 18.7:9 aspect ratio. It’s an IPS LCD panel which has 1080×2246 pixels resolution, a contrast ratio of 1500:1 and can achieve 500nits brightness. Xiaomi is using Gorilla Glass 3 protection to protect your display from accidental scratches.
Performance is one area where the Pocophone F1 shines and leaves almost all other phones at this price point lean their heads down. The phone is driven by Qualcomm’s 2018 star attraction, Snapdragon 845 chipset, which gets a wingman in Andreno 630 GPU. It has a fingerprint sensor at the back and a face unlock setup as well. Both the fingerprint sensor and face unlock are blazing fast.
The Poco F1 Camera is also one of its positive points. The Poco phone is backed by a dual camera setup that includes a 12MP primary shooter with IMX363 Sony Sensor, large 1.4µm pixels, f/1.9 aperture, and dual pixel phase detection. The second sensor on the rear is a Samsung made 5MP depth sensor. On the front, there is a 20MP selfie camera with support for pixel binning. Unfortunately, neither of these cameras come with optical image stabilization and yes that’s a negative point.
Poco F1 comes with a massive 4000mAh battery which is better than its immediate rival OnePlus 6. Even after heavy usage that includes gaming, web surfing and using multiple social media apps, there would be still a lot of battery left.
If you cannot wait for the launch of Poco F2 any further, I would recommend buying Poco F1 because you won’t be able to buy a phone with all these high-end performance features at this price point
