Poco F2 Pro May 12 Global Event Confirmed, Tipped to cost Rs 46,800

Yesterday POCO Global had confirmed the 2nd generation launch event of POCO to be scheduled on May 12. But the announcement had left some room of doubt though. The rumors and leaks about the launch of Poco f2 Pro have come out true. After reported leaks from a Portugal site regarding invitation distributed for a launch event in Madrid, Spain, the brand confirmed global launch happening on May 12.

Today POCO Global also confirmed that the online launch event happening on May 12 is for the much-hyped POCO F2 Pro. The tweet also revealed the time and model to be revealed in the event.


Poco Global had let out few teasers over the past week from its Twitter handle, the company announced that Poco is Waking Up.

Now with the confirmation that we have Poco F2 Pro getting unveiled in another 4 days, let us talk about the leaked price which all will be looking forward to. C Manmohan had dropped a hint that the Poco F1 successor will not fall in the affordable budget segment range. The leaks are also proving the same.

Poco F2 Pro will be available in two variants. Its 6GB RAM + 128GB base variant is rumored to cost EUR 570 (roughly Rs. 46,800) while the 8GB RAM + 256GB variant will be priced at EUR 749 (roughly Rs. 61,600).

Poco F2 Pro was found to be listed by the Chinese e-commerce website Gearbest as “POCO Smartphone is Back – Multi-C Version 2”. It listed four color options, including Blue, Grey, Purple, and White. Few leaked reports have pointed out that the global version of Poco F2 Pro will be a rebranded version of the Redmi K30 Pro which had been launched in China in March.
