Poco India released a video as part of its Make In India initiative and getting vocal about local sentiments. Emphasizing the birth and origin of POCO India as a brand, the video ended with a teaser for its fans. It teased about the launch of a new device in India ‘Soon’. The video ended with the text “The next, POCO FOR INDIA, Coming Soon”. However, its model name remains a mystery. In other words, it gave clear signals about Poco working on a new smartphone for Indian consumers.

The mysterious ending to the video did not divulge the name of the smartphone Poco India is planning to launch. But speculations suggest that it could be either Poco F2 Pro or Poco M2 Pro. Earlier in May, Poco Global had launched Poco F2 Pro in the Europe market. But it is a rebadged version of Redmi K30 Pro, there is a lower probability of entering the India market.
The other possibility is Poco M2 Pro getting released though Poco has not officially confirmed it. Leaksters have found Bluetooth SIG and WiFi Alliance certifications of M2 Pro which suggested that the company is planning for India launch.
Apart from the handset, POCO India has given feelers about launch its first truly wireless earphones, named Poco Pop Buds. The name was coined on Twitter by C Manmohan with Poco Pop Buds getting the majority votes. Earlier in April, Poco India had revealed that it was working on TWS earphones.
